How to use size filters across brands

All the brands here use UK sizing for womenswear, but cuts vary noticeably: Zara and Stradivarius run smaller than the UK high-street average, H&M is inconsistent between lines, and Abercrombie and Hollister follow US-influenced sizing that often runs roomier. If you sit between sizes, check the retailer's own size guide before buying — every product page here links straight to the retailer.

Our size filter works on the sizes retailers list as available in their data. Selecting your size hides items that are already sold out in it, which matters in sale periods where popular sizes disappear within days — there's little more annoying than finding a 70%-off coat that only exists in a UK 4.

Sale stock behaves differently from full-price stock: it rarely gets replenished. If an item you want is in stock in your size, it's usually a now-or-never situation; if it's sold out, it occasionally returns when other shoppers' returns are processed, typically within one to two weeks of the initial sellout.

The 'Low stock' label on a card means the retailer is showing only a small selection of sizes, so check the available options before clicking through.
